DESCRIPTION

CHARACTERISTIC

Family - Pine.

Canadian spruce, also gray spruce, white spruce - evergreen coniferous tree, 15-30 m high, rarely up to 40 meters. The trunk diameter is up to 1 meter. Comes from North America. Cultivated as an ornamental plant.

The bark is thin, scaly. The crown is narrow-conical in young trees, in old trees it becomes cylindrical. The needles are 12-20 mm long, rhombic in cross-section, blue-green on top and blue-white on the bottom, when rubbed resembles the smell of black currant.

Cones are weakly cylindrical, 3-7 cm long and up to 2.5 cm wide. The color of the cones is green or reddish, the mature cone is brown. Seeds are black, 2-3 mm long, with a light brown wing 5-8 mm long.

Recommended for single and group landings. Grows successfully in both maritime and continental climates. Sufficiently drought-resistant. Not demanding on soils, good wind resistance.

MODE OF APPLICATION

Place the seeds on a tray lid and soak them in room temperature water for 3 days, remembering to change the water once a day. After soaking, transfer the seeds to a clean surface and drain the water by releasing the pan cover.

Pour expanded clay on the bottom of the plastic pot, and on top pour fertile soil, leaving a small amount of earth in the bag.

Place the pot on a tray lid. Excess water when watering through the drainage holes in the pot will accumulate on the lid.

Sprinkle generously with room temperature water.

Spread the seeds evenly over the soil surface.

Sprinkle the seeds with a layer of fertile soil (3-5 mm) and compact it slightly.

Pour water at room temperature again and cover with transparent plastic, airing once a day.

Keep the fertile soil moist at all times (watering 2-3 times a week). It is better to use a spray bottle during seed germination.

Choose a place well lit by the sun for your pet. A window sill not on the south side is ideal to exclude prolonged direct sunlight. The optimal temperature regime is 20-25 В° C.

Be patient, seedlings will appear within 7-30 days. Remove the plastic after emergence.

In 1-2 years, no more, plant a grown plant in a city yard or in a summer cottage, and our Planet will become one tree more beautiful!

Expiration date - 20 months from the date of production. Store in a dry place protected from sunlight at temperatures from 0 В° C to + 25 В° C.
