Septogel tube 30ml
DESCRIPTION
Septogel (Septogel) - gel for external use for the treatment of post-surgical complications, diseases of the skin and mucous membranes in animals.
COMPOSITION
Septogel in 10 ml contains 0.65 g of iodopovidone as an active ingredient, and as auxiliary components 1.67 g of poloxamer 407, 0.089 g of citric acid, 0.089 g of sodium phosphate disubstituted 12-aqueous, 2.84 g of glycerin and water for injection up to 10 ml.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Iodopovidone, which is part of Septogel, has an antiseptic, disinfectant, bactericidal, antifungal, antiprotozoal and antiviral effect.
Iodopovidone interacts with proteins of the microbial cell (cell wall proteins, enzyme proteins) to form iodamines and causes the death of microorganisms. On contact with skin and mucous membranes, elemental iodine is gradually and evenly released. The penetration of iodine into the tissue to a depth of about 1 mm does not interfere with normal regeneration processes. Due to the large size of the complex molecule, povidone iodine poorly passes through biological barriers, the systemic effect of iodine is practically not manifested.
Septogel, according to the degree of impact on the body, belongs to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76).
