DESCRIPTION
Septo-Spray is a solution for external use for the treatment of diseases of the skin, mucous membranes and treatment of the surgical field in animals. Septo-spray is a transparent, slightly viscous brown liquid with a faint smell of iodine.
COMPOSITION
As an active ingredient, 0.03 g of iodopovidone (0.3% of active iodine), as well as auxiliary substances: glycerin - 50 mg, citric acid monohydrate - 7 mg, sodium phosphate disubstituted 12-aqueous - 16.1 mg and water for injection up to 1 ml.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Septo spray is an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and wound healing agent. Upon contact of the Septo-spray with the skin and mucous membranes, a gradual destruction of the povidone iodine complex occurs with the release of active iodine, which has a pronounced antimicrobial effect, oxidizing the active groups of proteins in the protoplasm of bacteria, and also causes denaturation of proteins.
Iodine is active against all types of microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, fungi, protozoa), there is no resistance to it.
When Septo-spray is applied to the skin, a temporary weak coloring of it in a light yellow color occurs.
According to the degree of impact on the body, Septo-spray belongs to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), in recommended doses it does not have a local irritant and sensitizing effect.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Septo-spray is used for the local treatment of aseptic and infected wounds, inflammation of the mucous membranes, burns of 1 and 2 degrees, eczema and dermatitis, as well as for the treatment of the operating and injection field.
Septo-spray is applied externally, applying it to the affected areas by spraying from a distance of 10-20 cm from the surface to its visual coverage with the drug.
When treating aseptic and infected wounds, 1st and 2nd degree burns, eczema and dermatitis, Septo-spray is applied 1-2 times a day for 5-10 days. If necessary, before applying the drug, a wound toilet is performed.
Treatment of the mucous membranes of the oral cavity and pharynx is carried out by spraying 2-3 times a day for 5-10 days. Before spraying, it is recommended to rinse the mucous membranes with warm boiled water.
You can not feed and drink the animal within 30 minutes after treatment with Septo-spray.
The treatment of the operating and injection field is carried out by spraying from a distance of 10-20 cm to the visual coverage of the prepared area of ​​the field. The treatment is carried out twice, allowing the treated surface to dry out.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Livestock products during and after the use of Septo-spray are used without restrictions.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Septo-spray is not used in conjunction with other antiseptic and disinfectants for external use.

Septo-spray does not cause side effects and complications in animals when used in accordance with this instruction.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Store Septo-spray with caution (list B) in the manufacturer's packaging in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 0 В° C to 25 В° C.
The shelf life under the specified storage conditions is 18 months from the date of manufacture. It is forbidden to use the medicinal product after the expiration date.

Septo-spray is produced in the form of a sterile solution, packaged in 100 ml each in polymer bottles of appropriate capacity with screw caps equipped with spray nozzles or nebulizers.
