Pharmacological action

Salicylic-zinc paste - a combined preparation for topical application. Salicylic acid has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and keratolytic effects. Zinc has a drying effect.

Indications

Subacute eczema of various origins, foot hyperhidrosis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug Salicylic-zinc paste, children's age (up to 12 years).

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Contraindicated.

Special instructions

Salicylic acid, which is part of the paste, can penetrate through the skin into the blood.

Do not apply paste to foci of wet wounds.

Composition of

1 g of paste for external use contains:

active ingredients: salicylic acid 20 mg, zinc oxide 250 mg,

excipients: wheat starch, petroleum jelly.

Dosage and administration

Salicylic-zinc paste is applied topically. Apply to the skin 1-2 times a day.

Side effects

Allergic reactions possible.

Overdose

Symptoms: when applying the paste to large areas of the skin for a long time are possible: tinnitus, dizziness, hearing loss, sweating. In severe cases - convulsions, hemorrhagic diathesis, respiratory depression, impaired liver and kidney function.

Treatment: symptomatic.

Storage conditions

The product should be stored out of the reach of children, at a temperature not exceeding 20 РC.
