rats

mice

PURPOSE

Means Rottenant is intended for preparation and use by personnel of organizations entitled to engage in disinfection activities, poisoned baits for the destruction of rats and mice in living quarters, at objects of various categories: food, children's (except for play rooms), medical (except for wards), in residential and non-residential dry and wet rooms, underground structures, basements, cellars, sewers, as well as tamponing rat holes in rooms (except for residential, food preparation and storage areas and children's stay) with their subsequent sealing.

COMPOSITION

Difenacin - 0.5%, red dye, antioxidant, filler.

METHOD OF APPLICATION AND DOSAGE

Cooking poison baits

Poisoned bait for fighting rodents (rats, mice) is prepared by mixing the 'Rottendant' with good-quality food products (refined grain, bread crumbs, boiled porridge, flour, boiled vegetables, minced meat or fish, mixed feed). add sugar syrup.

The composition of the food base is selected taking into account the nutritional characteristics of different types of rodents and the specifics of the food base at specific sites. In baits for mice, crushed grain or cereals are used.

To prepare a poisoned bait containing 0.015% biphenyl, you need to take 30 g of 'Rottendant', 10-40 g of vegetable oil and 930-960 g of food base, mix thoroughly until the color is evenly distributed throughout the mixture. The addition of vegetable oil prevents dusting of the powder and improves the eatability of the bait.

For further storage and transportation, the prepared bait is placed in a resealable container with a label.

Bait based on grain, cereals, mixed feed can be prepared for future use. Before packing and storing the bait, it must be dried: the finished bait is placed on trays with a layer of no more than 5 cm and dried for 24 hours at room temperature under conditions of effective supply and exhaust ventilation.

The text of the label on the container with the 'Rottenant' agent or bait must necessarily contain the name, date of manufacture, prescription: '' It is used only by personnel of organizations entitled to engage in disinfection activities. '

Using poisoned baits

Place the bait in previously identified habitats, or in places where traces of rodent activity are found (gnaws, droppings). Lay out the bait in dry places under shelters (cabinets, equipment, etc.) in adapted containers (bait boxes, sheets of thick paper, cardboard, oilcloths, drain pipes, trays, boxes, etc.) or in special containers. The latter are preferable because increase the eatability of the product, preventing it from being taken away by rodents, and also complicate access to the bait for non-target species of animals.

The bait is laid out in 50-150 g from rats or 20-50 g from mice, using a special spoon or scoop.

The distance between the bait placement points is 3-5-15 m, depending on the clutter of the premises and the number of rodents. Since the batches of bait from mice are smaller, they are laid out more often than from rats.

The laid out bait is inspected daily for 3-4 days after the layout, and then at intervals of 1 week. The portions in which the bait is partially or completely eaten are replenished to the original volume or twice as much. Portions left untouched by rats or mice for more than a week are transferred to other places visited by rodents. Contaminated or spoiled bait is replaced with a new one. The work is carried out until the disappearance of rodents.

At the end of the work, the remains of the bait and containers from under the baits are collected for reuse (if they are suitable for this) or for subsequent burial.

Due to the possibility of secondary poisoning, the corpses of rodents should be collected regularly (until the end of the work) for subsequent burial or incineration.

The bait can be left in places that are favorable for habitat or movement of rodents, or during periods of expected growth in their numbers. In this case, the bait is laid out in special containers (containers) and observations are carried out at least 2 times a month.

Application of the 'Rottendant' agent for packing rat burrows indoors.

To plug holes in rats, 'Rottendant' is used in its native form; consumption of funds - 5-10 g per tampon.

A thin layer of cotton wool or tow is rolled up into loose lumps and placed in a tight, undamaged plastic or paper bag where the product is located, based on the number of tampons. After closing the bag, shake it to evenly distribute the rodenticide in the tampons. The work is carried out under traction.

The package with tampons is taken to the work site, where each tampon is taken out with tweezers or forceps and inserted into the hole, trying to push it as deep as possible. Then the burrow is covered with cement, plaster or other building material.

Insert tampons into the hole with tweezers or forceps.
