Description:
A mixture of hypanthium particles, nuts and occasionally parts of sepals and peduncles Hypanthium color from orange-red to brown; nuts - from light yellow to orange-yellow, sometimes brownish; sepals and peduncles - from gray-green to brownish - green and brown. Odor is absent. The taste of aqueous extract is sour-sweet, slightly astringent.

Pharmacological action:
Infusion of rose hips helps to increase the body's nonspecific resistance, enhance tissue regeneration and synthesis of hormones, reduce vascular permeability, normalize carbohydrate metabolism.
Indications for use:
For the prevention of hypovitaminosis C and R. In the complex therapy of acute and chronic infectious diseases, asthenic conditions, during the period of convalescence after serious illnesses, surgical operations.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the drug, cholelithiasis.
Method of administration and dosage:
2 filter bags (4 g) are placed in a glass or enamel dish, 200 ml (1 glass) boiling water is poured, covered and infused for 15 minutes, periodically pressing the bags with a spoon, then they are squeezed out. The volume of the resulting infusion is brought to 200 ml with boiled water.
It is taken orally warm after meals:
- adults and children over 12 years old - 1/2 cup 2 times a day
- children from 6 to 12 years old - 1/4 cup 2 times a day
- children from 3 to 5 years old - 2 tablespoons 2 times a day
- children from 1 to 2 years old - 1 tablespoon 2 times a day
- children from 6 months to 1 year old - 1-2 teaspoons a day.
It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.
