PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Rolf Club 3D spray for dogs belongs to the combined insectoacaricidal drugs.
The combination of fipronil, d-cyphenotrin and pyriproxyfen, which are part of the drug, provides a wide range of its contact insectoacaricidal action on sexually mature and immature (larvae) phases of development of fleas, lice, lice, demodectic, sarcoptoid and ixodid ticks, parasitizing on blood-sucking dipterans (mosquitoes, midges and mosquitoes).
Fipronil is an insectoacaricide of the phenylpyrazole group, the mechanism of action of which is to block the GABA-dependent receptors of arthropods, disrupt the transmission of nerve impulses, which leads to paralysis and death of ectoparasites.
D-cyphenothrin belongs to the group of synthetic pyrethroids, has insectoacaricidal and repellent activity, and has a knockdown effect upon the first contact of an ectoparasite with the hair of a treated animal (before being bitten or attached). Its action is due to blocking the conduction of a nerve impulse in the parasite by changing the membrane permeability to sodium ions, which leads to a paralyzing effect.
Piriproxyfen is an analogue of the natural juvenile hormone that regulates the growth and development of insects. The mechanism of its action consists in disrupting the processes of chitin synthesis and moulting of larvae, which prevents the development of full-fledged pupae, causing the death of insects at the preimaginal stages of development, stops the replenishment of the population at the stage of egg and larva and the appearance of sexually mature insects on animals and in their places of detention.
After applying the drug to the skin and hair, its active components are practically not absorbed into the systemic circulation, accumulate in the wool, epidermis, hair follicles and sebaceous glands, have a long-term insectoacaricidal and repellent effect. After a single treatment, the duration of the protective action against ixodid ticks lasts for 30 days, against fleas and lice - up to 3 months, from diptera blood-sucking insects - up to 5 days.
Rolf Club 3D spray for dogs, according to the degree of impact on the body, are classified as low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007), does not have a local irritant, resorptive-toxic, embryotoxic, teratogenic, mutagenic and sensitizing effect. The drug is toxic to rabbits, bees, fish and other aquatic organisms; it causes slight irritation in the eyes.
Rolf Club 3D spray for dogs should not be used simultaneously with other insecticidal and acaricidal preparations for treating animals.

To destroy fleas, lice, lice and prevent the attack of ixodid ticks and dipteran blood-sucking insects, the entire body of the animal is treated with the drug against the growth of wool, slightly moistening it (in animals of long-haired breeds, the wool is lifted by hand). If the tick does not spontaneously fall off within 20 minutes, it is carefully pulled out of the skin with special hooks to remove ixodid ticks or with tweezers and destroyed.
When animals are affected by sarcoptic mange and demodectic mange, the drug is applied to the affected areas of the body previously cleaned of scabs with the capture of borderline healthy skin up to 1 cm ?, at the rate of 1 ml per 10 - 15 cm of the affected area of the animal's body.
The treatment is carried out 2-4 times with an interval of 7-10 days until the animal's clinical recovery, which is confirmed by two negative results of acarological studies.
Animals with extensive lesions are treated in two doses with an interval of 1 day, applying the drug to the affected areas first of one and then the other half of the body.
Treatment of animals is recommended to be carried out in a complex manner using pathogenetic and symptomatic drugs.
