INDICATION
RolfClub 3D collar for dogs is used for the treatment and prevention of arachnoentomoses caused by fleas, lice, lice, ixodid ticks, protection of dogs from the attack of dipteran blood-sucking insects and the prevention of vector-borne diseases (babesiosis, borreliosis, dirofilariasis).
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The combination of fipronil, d-cyphenotrin and pyriproxyfen, which are part of the drug, provides a wide spectrum of its insectoacaricidal and action on sexually mature and immature (larvae) phases of development of fleas, lice, lice and ixodid ticks parasitizing on dogs, as well as protection of animals from blood-sucking dipterans insects (mosquitoes, midges and mosquitoes).
Fipronil is an insectoacaricide of the phenylpyrazole group, the mechanism of action of which is to block GABA-dependent receptors in arthropods, disrupt the transmission of nerve impulses, which leads to paralysis and death of ectoparasites.
D-cyphenothrin is a synthetic pyrethroid, has insectoacaricidal and repellent activity, has a knockdown effect upon the first contact of an ectoparasite with the hair of a treated animal (before being bitten or attached). Its action is due to blocking the conduction of a nerve impulse in the parasite by changing the membrane permeability to sodium ions, which leads to a paralyzing effect.
Piriproxyfen is an analogue of the natural juvenile hormone that regulates the growth and development of insects. The mechanism of its action consists in disrupting the processes of chitin synthesis and molting of larvae, which prevents the development of full-fledged pupae, causing death at the preimaginal stages of development, and stops the appearance of sexually mature insects on animals and in their places of detention.
Gradually released from the surface of the tape, the active substances, without being absorbed into the systemic circulation, are transferred to the skin and hair of the animal, accumulating in the epidermis, hair follicles and sebaceous glands of the animal and have a long-term insectoacaricidal and repellent effect.
RolfKlub 3D collar for dogs in terms of the degree of impact on the body refers to moderately hazardous substances (hazard class 3 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), does not have a local irritant, resorptive-toxic, embryotoxic, teratogenic, mutagenic and sensitizing effect.
APPLICATION
After opening the package, the collar is unfolded and put on the animal, adjusting in size so that a gap of 1.0-1.5 cm remains between the animal's neck and the collar, then fixed with a retainer and the excess tape is cut off.
Continuous use of the collar protects dogs from fleas, lice, lice and ixodid ticks for up to 6 months, from blood-sucking dipterans - up to 5 days.
Before using the RolfClub 3D collar, dogs with dirty and matted hair are recommended to be thoroughly washed with a detergent, and in case of severe insect infestation, with an insecticidal shampoo.
Before bathing or washing the dog, it is recommended to remove the collar and put it back on after the animal's coat is completely dry.
In order to prevent re-infestation by fleas, animals are replaced with bedding or treated with an insecticidal preparation in accordance with the instructions for use.
