DESCRIPTION
Rolenol Closantel is an antiparasitic drug for cattle. In appearance it is a clear yellow solution. Available in the form of a sterile solution for injection.
COMPOSITION
Antiparasitic drug containing 5% closantel as an active ingredient.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Possesses a wide spectrum of antiparasitic action, is active against nematodes, trematodes and gadfly larvae. Closantel, which is part of rollenol, disrupts the energy processes in the body of parasites, which leads to their death. Closantel is well absorbed from the injection site and penetrates into all organs and tissues of the body, reaching maximum concentrations 8 hours after subcutaneous administration. The half-life of the drug from the body is 12 days. It is excreted from the body unchanged, mainly in the urine and in small quantities with feces.
The drug is moderately dangerous for warm-blooded animals, in the recommended doses it does not have embryotoxic and teratogenic properties.
INDICATIONS
Large and small ruminants with fascioliasis, bunostomosis, hemonhoses, esophagostomiasis, habertiosis, hypodermatosis and estrosis.
APPLICATION
Enter once, in cattle subcutaneously or intramuscularly, in small ruminants - subcutaneously.
Rolenol is used in cattle for the prevention and treatment of fascioliasis caused by the larval and sexually mature stage of Fasciola hepatica and the mature stage of Fasciola gigantica, as well as in nematodes caused by larval and adult stages of Bunostomum spr., Haemonchus placegoi, Oesopr animal, with hypodermatosis - in a dose of 1 ml / 10 kg of animal weight.
Rolenol is used in small cattle for the prevention and treatment of nematodes caused by larval and adult stages of Bunostomum spp., Haemonchus placei, Oesophagostomum radiatum, Chabertia ovis, and oestrosis of sheep caused by larvae of Oestrus ovis, at a dose of 0.5 ml / 10 kg of live weight fascioliasis caused by larval and adult stages of Fasciola hepatica - at a dose of 1 ml / 10 kg of live weight.
Treatment against helminths is carried out before stalling animals and in the spring before pasture; against gadfly invasions - immediately after the end of the summer of gadflies and in the spring (February - March). Before mass treatments, each batch of the drug is preliminarily tested on a small group of animals (10-15 heads), which are monitored for 2-3 days. In the absence of complications, the drug is used for the entire livestock of animals.
SIDE EFFECTS
Not observed in recommended doses.
Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed 28 days after the last use of the drug. The meat of animals that were forcedly killed before the expiration of the specified period can be used for feeding fur animals or for the production of meat and bone meal.
PRECAUTIONS
When working with the drug, you should follow the general rules of personal hygiene and safety measures provided for when working with veterinary drugs. It is forbidden to use vials from the preparation for food purposes.
STORAGE
Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 5 В° C to 25 В° C. The shelf life is 3 years.
