DESCRIPTION

Ribotan is a complex immunomodulatory drug for cattle, horses, pigs, small ruminants, camels, fur-bearing animals, rabbits, nutria, dogs and cats in diseases accompanied by the development of immunodeficiency, including agranulocytosis and leukopenia. In appearance it is a clear, colorless solution.

COMPOSITION

The complex immunomodulatory drug consists of a mixture of low molecular weight polypeptides (0.5-1 kD) and low molecular weight RNA fragments.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Ribotan has an immunostimulating effect on the T and B systems of animal immunity. Stimulates immunoreactivity to specific antigens, functional activity of macrophages, subpopulations of T- and B-lymphocytes, as well as the synthesis of interferon and lymphokines.

The drug enhances the body's defense mechanisms and promotes the prevention and treatment of plague, viral enteritis, hepatitis, viral conjunctivitis, influenza, parainfluenza, other viral diseases, bacterial infections, as well as demodectic and dermatophytosis of animals.

The introduction of ribotan compensates for the deficiency of the normal cellular and humoral immunity factors, maintains the balance of immunocorrecting cells in the above diseases, and thus ensures the normal homeostasis of the body. Ribotan prevents the development of stressful conditions.

INDICATIONS

Prescribed to cattle, horses, camels, pigs, small ruminants, dogs, cats, fur animals, rabbits and nutria in complex therapy as an immunomodulating agent for diseases accompanied by the development of immunodeficiency, including agranulocytosis and leukopenia.

As a nonspecific agent for the prevention and treatment of viral, bacterial, fungal and parasitic diseases, as well as for enhancing the effect of vaccination when applied in advance or simultaneously with the vaccine. Ribotan is effective for preventing and mitigating the effects of stress conditions in animals during transportation, in the preoperative and postoperative periods, as well as in the treatment of various non-communicable diseases in combination with other drugs.

APPLICATION

Ribotan is administered to animals subcutaneously or intramuscularly in the following doses:

For the prevention of infectious diseases, ribotan is used in animals at one dose 2-3 times a month, during mass diseases - one dose for 3-5 days in a row. When the condition of the animal worsens and it is impossible to diagnose at the initial stage of the disease, the drug is administered 2-3 times, one dose at intervals of 3-5 days.

For therapeutic purposes, with an established diagnosis, ribotan is injected in one dose every 3-5 days, but not more than 5 injections. If necessary, after 5-10 days, the course of treatment should be repeated. When vaccinated, the drug is injected simultaneously with the vaccine. The use of the drug must be combined with serum (immunoglobulin) therapy and symptomatic agents (antibiotics, vitamins, cardiac drugs). To eliminate the consequences of stressful conditions (for example, during transportation, haircutting, etc.), one dose of the drug is administered 10-18 hours before stress.

When carrying out preoperative preparation, Ribotan is used once, one dose at a time, in the postoperative period, the drug is administered 2-5 times with an interval of 3-5 days. When using the drug, you must follow the rules of asepsis and antiseptics. The needles and syringes are sterilized by boiling; a separate needle is used for each animal. The injection site is treated with 70 В° alcohol.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Livestock products can be used without restrictions after using ribotan. The medicinal product is not suitable for use in case of violation of the integrity of the closure, the absence of marking, the content of impurities and mold, as well as with a changed consistency. Such ampoules are subject to rejection and disposal.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Increased individual sensitivity to drug components.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Store in a dry, dark place, out of the reach of children and animals, at temperatures from 2 В° C to 10 В° C. Shelf life, subject to storage conditions, is 2 years.
