Inside. Adults and children over 10 years old: 30 minutes before meals, 300 mg 3-4 times / day - with acute inflammation, 2 times / day - with chronic. To facilitate morning sputum discharge in chronic bronchitis, an additional 300 mg is taken before bedtime.

Children under 10 years old - 120 mg 4-5 times / day or 300 mg 2 times / day - with acute inflammation and 120 mg 3 times / day or 300 mg 1 time / essence - with chronic inflammation.

The duration of treatment is determined by the clinical picture of the disease.

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

The drug should be used with caution in the first trimester of pregnancy.

pharmachologic effect

The drug is of plant origin, has an expectorant, mucolytic, antimicrobial, fungicidal, antioxidant, deodorizing effect. By activating ciliary activity, it increases mucociliary clearance. Reduces the viscosity of bronchial secretions by changing the pH, facilitates the excretion of sputum by activating the activity of the ciliated epithelium.

Pharmacokinetics

It is well absorbed in the small intestine. Time to reach Cmax - 2 hours. It is excreted by the lungs.

Side effect

Gastralgia, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, increased mobility of kidney and gallbladder stones, allergic reactions.

Application during pregnancy and lactation
