Mode of application:

Hold the bottle in your hands to warm it to body temperature. Lie on your side opposite the ear to be treated, or tilt your head towards the opposite shoulder. Gently pull the ear lobe down and back to straighten the ear canal. Drip up to 20 drops of Remo-Vax on the back wall, the solution level should reach the border of the transition to the auricle. The amount of solution depends on the size of the ear canal, but less than 10 drops does not completely cover all the walls of the ear canal. Wait 20-60 minutes. Then let the solution drain out for 1 minute, turning over on the other side (or leaning over the sink / napkin). It is possible to color the solution in a light or dark brown color due to the dissolved sulfur. If necessary, you can leave the solution in the ear overnight by inserting a small piece of cotton wool into the ear,moistened with drops of Remo-Wax.

The auditory canal must be flushed after each application of the drops to completely cleanse the ear canal of dissolved sulfur residues / dense sulfur formation. The auditory canal is washed with clean water at body temperature.

Washing should not be painful. If pain occurs, stop flushing and see a doctor.

In the case of dense sulfur formations ('sulfur plugs'), it is recommended to repeat the procedure for three days in a row. For regular ear hygiene and to reduce the risk of dense sulfur formations ('sulfur plugs'), use Remo-Wax once a month.

Important: Do not drip into the center of the ear - the formation of an 'airlock' is possible (especially if the auditory canal is narrow, twisted or deformed, including as a result of otitis media). It is impossible to penetrate with a cotton swab or other objects deep into the ear canal - they cause microtraumas that serve as 'entrance gates' of infection and can lead to the development of external otitis media and injury to the eardrum.
