Relief is a drug for the local treatment of hemorrhoids. The effect of the drug is due to the combined effect of its components. Shark liver oil has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, wound healing and hemostatic effect.



Basically, these effects are due to the high content of alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E) in this substance, which has long been successfully used for topical treatment in case of damage to the epithelial integument. In addition, shark liver oil contains alkoxy glycerol - a substance that can increase nonspecific local immunity and enhance

reparative processes.

To enhance the anti-inflammatory effects, phenylephrine hydrochloride, an alpha-adrenergic agonist, is introduced into the composition of the Relief drug, which reduces swelling and exudation, relieves itching and reduces inflammation.



Cocoa butter is used as a base for candles, which has long established itself as the best base for

hemorrhoidal suppositories due to its enveloping and emollient properties. At the same time, cocoa butter is not absorbed and does not interact with other components of the drug.



Indications: Hemorrhoids, microtrauma and rectal fissures.



Dosage regimen: Wash the skin around the anus with warm water, then remove excess moisture with a cotton swab or piece of gauze. Before inserting a candle, it is necessary to remove the outer sheath. Insert the candle into the anus. Repeat the introduction up to 3 times a day: at night, in the morning and after each bowel movement. The maximum daily dose is 6 suppositories. There are no restrictions on the duration of the drug.



Side effects: Redness, itching in the anal area (if the recommended doses are significantly exceeded).



Contraindications: Hypersensitivity, thromboembolic disease, granulocytopenia.
