The drug should be used after hygiene procedures.
Remove the protective cap from the applicator. Attach the applicator to the tube and squeeze out a small amount of ointment to lubricate the applicator. The ointment is carefully applied through the applicator to the affected areas outside or inside the anus up to 4 times / day in the morning, evening and after each bowel movement for 7-10 days.
After each use, rinse the applicator thoroughly and place it in a protective cap.
Children under 12 years of age: the drug should only be used as directed by a doctor.
If after treatment there is no improvement or the symptoms worsen, or new symptoms appear, the patient should consult a doctor.

Side effect

There are reports that products containing benzocaine can cause methemoglobinemia. Symptoms such as cyanosis of the skin, lips and nails, headache, dizziness, shortness of breath (difficulty breathing), weakness, tachycardia that occur during treatment may indicate a potentially life-threatening methemoglobinemia that requires immediate medical attention.
In order to minimize systemic side effects, do not exceed the recommended daily dose, unless otherwise directed by your doctor.
It is not recommended to use the drug on damaged skin, because it may increase systemic absorption.
Contact of the drug with latex products (contraceptive diaphragms and condoms) should be avoided to avoid reducing their effectiveness.

Overdose
Possible symptoms can be associated with systemic absorption of benzocaine, which is part of the drug, and include drowsiness, anxiety, agitation; in severe cases, convulsions; extremely rarely - methemoglobinemia (manifested by respiratory disorders and cyanosis).
With a significant excess of the recommended single and daily doses of shark liver oil included in the preparation, a tendency to increased blood coagulation may develop.
Treatment: with methemoglobinemia - intravenous administration of methylene blue.
