- psoriasis;
- dyshidrotic dermatitis;
- eczema;
- neurodermatitis;
- lichen planus;
- ichthyosis and ichthyosis skin lesions;
- atopic dermatitis;
- diffuse neurodermatitis;
- simple and allergic dermatitis;
- urticaria;
- exudative erythema multiforme;
- simple chronic lichen (limited neurodermatitis);
dermatoses that cannot be treated with other corticosteroids (especially red warty lichen);
dyshidrosis of the skin.
Outwardly.
Apply to the affected areas at the rate of: a column of ointment 0.5 cm long on a skin area of ??about 7 ? 7 cm, rubbing slightly, with a thin layer 2 times a day. A different frequency of use can be established by a doctor, based on the severity of the disease. In mild cases, it is sufficient to apply the ointment, as a rule, once a day; more severe lesions may require more frequent use.
If necessary, occlusive dressings are applied, which are changed every 24 hours.
The duration of treatment depends on the effectiveness and tolerability of therapy and is 2-4 weeks.
If clinical improvement does not occur, the diagnosis must be clarified.
Special patient groups
Children. For children from 2 years of age, the drug is prescribed only on strict indications and under medical supervision, because the development of systemic side effects associated with betamethasone is possible. The duration of treatment should be as short as possible. When using the drug on large surfaces and / or under an occlusive dressing, it is possible to suppress the function of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal system and develop symptoms of hypercortisolism, there may be a decrease in the excretion of growth hormone, an increase in ICP.

lactation period;
children under 2 years of age.
With care: liver failure; children's age (over 2 years old); long-term therapy, especially with the use of occlusive dressings.
