Pharmacological action
Infusion of tansy flowers has an anthelmintic and choleretic effect.
Indications
As an anthelmintic in ascariasis and enterobiosis.
As a choleretic agent for chronic non-calculous cholecystitis, hypomotor biliary dyskinesia (in complex therapy).
Contraindications
Individual intolerance, age up to 18 years, pregnancy and lactation.
Composition
Tansy flowers crushed.
Dosage and administration
1 filter bag is placed in a glass or enameled container, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) boiling water, cover and insist for 15 minutes. The filter bag is squeezed, the volume of the resulting infusion is adjusted to 100 ml with boiled water.
The infusion is taken orally 15 minutes before meals: as an anthelmintic, 1/2 to 1/3 cup 2 to 3 times a day for 3 days, then take a laxative. If necessary, the drug can be repeated after 7-14 days as a choleretic agent - 1-2 tablespoons 2-3 times a day. Shake the infusion before use.
Side effects
Allergic reactions possible.
Overdose
When using the drug in doses higher than recommended, overdose phenomena are possible: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Treatment is symptomatic.
Storage Conditions
In a dry, dark place. Ready infusion - in a cool place no more than 2 days. Keep out of reach of children.
Expiration
3 years. Do not use after the expiry date.
