Pharmacological action
Polyvalent pyobacteriophage (Sextafag) has the ability to specifically lyse microorganisms (staphylococci, streptococci, pathogenic intestinal and pseudomonas bacteria), Proteus mirabilis, Proteus vulgaris, Klebsiella pneumonia.
Indications
Prevention and treatment of various forms of diseases and conditions caused by the above pathogens:
Purulent-inflammatory diseases of the ear, throat, nose, respiratory tract, lungs and pleura (inflammation of the sinuses, middle ear, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, trachea , bronchitis, pneumonia, pleurisy).
Surgical infections (purulent skin lesions, suppuration of wounds, abscess, phlegmon, mastitis, osteomyelitis, peritonitis, burns) urogenital infection (urethritis, cystitis, pyelonephritis, colpitis, endometritis, salpingoophoritis).
Enteral infections (gastroenterocolitis, cholecystitis, intestinal dysbiosis).
Generalized septic conditions.
Purulent-septic diseases in newborns and infants (omphalitis, pemphigus, gastroenterocolitis, sepsis).
Treatment of freshly infected wounds.
Prevention of nosocomial infections according to epidemiological indications.
Contraindications
Individual intolerance to the drug.
Special instructions
Opening vials and ampoules, the procedure for administering the Pyobacteriophage polyvalent is carried out with strict adherence to antiseptic rules. Before use, the vials and ampoules are shaken and viewed - the drug should be transparent and not contain sediment. If the drug is cloudy or the integrity of the package is broken, it is not used.
Storage of the drug after opening the vial or ampoule is not allowed.
The use of a polyvalent pyobacteriophage does not exclude the use of other antibacterial and anti-inflammatory drugs.
Composition of
1 ml of solution contains:
Active substances:
mixture of staphylococcal phagolysate,
streptococcus,
Escherichia coli,
protea,
pseudomonas aeruginosis and Klebsiella pneumoniae.
Dosage and administration of
The polyvalent pyobacteriophage is used depending on the nature of the site of infection: topically in the form of rinses, irrigation, lotions, intracavitary for introducing wounds, abscesses into the cavity, abdominal, pleural, chipping phlegmon, introducing into the nasal cavity, nasal cavity cavity of the middle ear, bladder, uterus, vagina. In addition, the drug is taken orally, administered through a probe, as well as in the form of high enemas.
Duration of treatment with polyvalent pyobacteriophage - from 5 to 15 days, apply 1-3 times a day.
Dose is determined individually. Repeated courses of treatment are possible.
With pyelonephritis, enterocolitis, cholecystitis, intestinal dysbiosis, any purulent-septic diseases of various localization - per os, in liquid form 5ֲ0 ml 3 times a day for 10ֱ5 days.
With indomitable vomiting and in children of the first year of life, an additional administration of the Pyobacteriophage polyvalent through a probe is possible, in the form of high enemas at a dose of 3-5 ml daily for 5-7 days.
Locally, the polyvalent pyobacteriophage is used in the form of irrigation, lotions and plugging in an amount of up to 200 ml, taking into account the size of the affected area.
Intracavitary - 5-30 ml.
In case of abscesses, the amount of injected Piobacteriophage polyvalent should be slightly less than the volume of the removed pus prescribed 1-3 times a day, the course - 5-15 days.
In proctology for preoperative preparation, the polyvalent pyobacteriophage is used in the form of drip enemas (100-200 ml at 60 drops per minute).
For infections of ENT organs: intracavitary - 2ֲ0 ml 1-3 times a day.
In the treatment of omphalitis, pyoderma of the newborn: in the form of applications, lotions daily 2 times a day for 5-7 days.
When ingesting a liquid form, children over 3 years old and adults should take a solution of baking soda (0.5 teaspoon per 0.5 cup of water) inside.
In case of topical administration of the polyvalent Pyobacteriophage, if chemical antiseptics (except furatsilin) ??were used to treat wounds, the wound should be washed with sterile physiological solution of sodium chloride or 2-3% soda solution.
Side effects of
There are no reactions to the administration of a polyvalent pyobacteriophage.
