Long-term therapy of ischemic heart disease: prevention of attacks of stable angina pectoris as part of mono- or combination therapy.

The drug is taken orally, 1 capsule 1 time / day, in the morning with breakfast. The capsules should be taken whole, without chewing, with water.
Evaluation of the benefits of treatment can be carried out after 3 months of using the drug. If during this time there is no improvement, the use of PreductalЃ OD should be discontinued.
The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor.

One tablet contains

active substance: trimetazidine dihydrochloride 80 mg,

excipients: sugar spheres containing sucrose and corn starch, hypromellose, ethyl cellulose, tributyl acetyl citrate, talc (filler), talc (lubricant), magnesium stearate

Capsule body: titanium dioxide (E 171), gelatin

Capsule cap: titanium dioxide (E 171), iron oxide red (E 172), gelatin

- severe renal failure (CC less than 30 ml / min);
- Parkinson's disease, parkinsonism symptoms, tremors, restless legs syndrome and other associated movement disorders;
- fructose / sucrose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome, sucrase / isomaltase deficiency and other fermentopathies associated with intolerance to sucrose, which is part of the drug;
- age up to 18 years (due to the lack of sufficient clinical data);
- hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug.

Pharmacological action
Antianginal drug that improves myocardial metabolism in ischemic conditions.
Trimetazidine prevents a decrease in the intracellular concentration of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) by maintaining the energy metabolism of cells in a state of hypoxia. Thus, the drug ensures the normal functioning of membrane ion channels, transmembrane transport of potassium and sodium ions, and the maintenance of cellular homeostasis.

Dizziness, headache, tremor, akinesia, increased tone, 'unsteadiness' of gait, restless legs syndrome, insomnia, drowsiness, palpitations, extrasystole, tachycardia, marked decrease in blood pressure, orthostatic hypotension, hot flushes to the skin of the face, pain in the abdomen, diarrhea, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, constipation, hepatitis, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, thrombocytopenic purpura, skin rash, pruritus, urticaria; unspecified frequency - Quincke's edema, acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis.
