Pharmacological action
A drug with a detoxifying effect. The mechanism of action is due to the ability of low molecular weight povidone to bind toxins circulating in the blood and quickly remove them from the body.
Hemodez-H enhances renal blood flow, increases glomerular filtration, and increases diuresis.
Hemodez-H differs from hemodez by the lower molecular weight of polyvinylpyrrolidone used to make it. The decrease in the molecular weight of the polymer accelerates its excretion by the kidneys from the body and improves the detoxification properties of the drug.
Indications
Detoxification therapy for:
— toxic forms of acute infectious intestinal diseases (dysentery, salmonellosis)
— peritonitis (in the postoperative period)
— liver diseases — accompanied by the development of hepatic disease
— Intrauterine infection and toxemia of the newborn.
Contraindications
— hemorrhagic stroke
— cardiovascular insufficiency
— increased sensitivity to the drug.
