Indications

Prevention and treatment of hypovitaminosis and lack of minerals during preparation for pregnancy, during pregnancy and the postpartum period

Prevention of iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women, calcium deficiency in the mother.

Contraindications

Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug Vitrum Prenatal forte.

Not recommended for use with:

hypervitaminosis A,

excessive accumulation of iron in the body,

increased blood calcium,

increased excretion of calcium in the urine,

urolithiasis.

Special instructions

Do not exceed recommended dosage.

Dosing and Administration

Side effects

Drug interaction

Vitrum Prenatal forte contains iron and calcium and therefore can delay the absorption of antibiotics from the tetracycline group, as well as fluoroquinolone derivatives, in the intestines. Vitamin C enhances the action and side effects of antimicrobials from the sulfonamides group (including the appearance of crystals in the urine). Antacids containing aluminum, magnesium, calcium, and cholestyramine reduce iron absorption. With the simultaneous appointment of diuretics from the thiazide group, the likelihood of hypercalcemia increases.
