Treatment shampoo Friderm Zinc is intended for external use in dermatological diseases.
Zinc pyrithionate has fungistatic activity, is highly active against fungi of the genus Malassezia, which are regarded as a pathogenic factor in seborrhea, dandruff and psoriasis. Suppresses the growth of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. The mechanism of action is associated with a decrease in the concentration of adenosine triphosphate in the cells of pathogenic bacteria and fungi, depolarization of the cell membranes, which causes their death.
The active substance does not dissolve in water, remains on the surface of the skin and slowly dissolves under the influence of sebum, creating an unfavorable environment for fungi. It has anti-inflammatory, keratolytic and antipruritic effects. Eliminates dandruff and seborrhea.
It is indicated for: atopic and psoriatic dermatitis
seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp with itching and dandruff
pityriasis versicolor
thinning hair (as an adjuvant in combination therapy).
