Indications
Chronic cerebral ischemia.

Use during pregnancy and lactation
There is no experience with the drug during pregnancy or lactation, therefore the drug should not be prescribed for this category of women.
There is no experience with the drug for the treatment of children, therefore the drug is contraindicated for the treatment of children under 18 years of age.
Composition of
1 ml of the solution contains:
active substances:
thiotriazoline 25 mg,
piracetam 100 mg
Dosage and administration
The drug is administered intravenously, intramuscularly only if it is not possible to ingest it.
In case of chronic cerebrovascular accident and in the recovery period after ischemic stroke, 20-30 ml of the drug are prescribed, previously diluted in 100-150 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution, and injected intravenously 1 time / day.
The course of treatment is 2 weeks, later they switch to the tablet form.
In case of diabetic encephalopathy, 5 ml IM 1 time / day is prescribed for 10 days with the further appointment of the tablet form.
Side effects of the
From the nervous system: motor disinhibition, irritability, drowsiness, depression, asthenia, headache, dizziness, tinnitus, insomnia, mental agitation, imbalance, ataxia, exacerbation of the course of epilepsy, anxiety, hallucinations, .
From the gastrointestinal tract: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, pain in the abdomen (including gastralgia) and bloating, dry mouth.
On the part of the cardiovascular system: tachycardia, increased blood pressure, pain in the heart, arrhythmias, in elderly people, exacerbation of coronary insufficiency is possible.
Allergic reactions: hypersensitivity, anaphylactic reactions, including dermatitis, pruritus, urticaria and angioedema, fever.
On the part of the respiratory system: shortness of breath, asthma attacks.
Metabolism: weight gain.
On the part of the hearing organs: vertigo.
Drug Interaction
Thioacetam should not be administered concurrently with preparations having an acidic pH. Due to the presence of piracetam, the effect of antidepressants and anti-anginal drugs is enhanced. When co-administered with thyroid hormones, confusion, irritability and sleep disturbance are possible.
Piracetam does not inhibit cytochrome P450 isoenzymes. Metabolic interaction with other drugs is unlikely
Co-administration with alcohol did not affect the serum concentration of piracetam in the serum ethanol concentration did not change with 1.6 g of piracetam.
Overdose
Symptoms: the occurrence or intensification of the dose-related side effects of the drug.
Treatment: drug withdrawal, induction of vomiting, gastric lavage, symptomatic therapy.
