DESCRIPTION

Pikhtoinovaya ointment is a complex preparation for veterinary use. It is an ointment for external use of a thick consistency, with a specific coniferous smell, yellowish with a greenish tint.

COMPOSITION

The preparation contains pine resin, beeswax (or beeswax), chemically precipitated chalk and oil.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

When applied to the skin, Pikhtoin ointment, penetrating through the sebaceous glands and partly into the intercellular passages, is absorbed and leads to vasodilation, improved blood circulation and accelerated resorption of inflammation products. It has a decongestant, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. Increases and restores skin elasticity. Possesses strong bactericidal, antiviral and antifungal properties. Promotes tissue regeneration and wound healing processes.

INDICATIONS

It is used for animals to treat purulent wounds, boils, abscesses, cuts, burns, traumatic tissue injuries, bedsores, diaper rash, eczema, lichen, infectious dermatitis, arthritis, bursitis, bruises, mastitis, papillomas and ulcers on the udder nipples.

APPLICATION

Pikhtoin ointment is applied in a thin layer on a clean white cloth or gauze napkin, which is previously covered with the affected area of ​​the body, then the napkin with the drug is strengthened with a bandage or special glue. The dressing is done 1 - 2 times a day. The ointment can be applied directly to the affected area by gently rubbing it into the surrounding tissue. For bruises, mastitis, warming bandages are applied. The procedure is repeated 1 - 2 times a day and continues until complete recovery. For the treatment of papillomas, Pikhtoin ointment is applied 2 - 3 times a day until they disappear.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Milk and meat of animals can be used without any restrictions after using Pihtoin ointment.
