COMPOSITION
Pikhtoin contains 20 g of pine sap as an active ingredient, and as auxiliary substances: beeswax or beeswax - 8 g, chemically precipitated chalk - 10 g and industrial oil - up to 100 g.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Pharmacotherapeutic group: drugs for the treatment of skin diseases. Pihtoin has a complex anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and regenerating effect.
Pine oleoresin, which is part of Pikhtoin, due to the presence of flavonoids and phytoncides, provides the antiseptic properties of the drug. When applied to the skin, Pihtoin penetrates through the sebaceous glands and partially the intercellular passages. In the glands and intercellular passages, the biologically active components of the resin become soluble and are gradually absorbed, contributing to the expansion of blood vessels, improving blood supply and accelerating the resorption of inflammation products.
Pihtoin, according to the degree of its effect on the body, is classified as a low-hazard substance (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76).
