Picloxidine is used topically 2-6 times / day. The duration of treatment is no more than 10 days.
Eye drops in the form of a transparent, colorless or slightly colored solution.
1 ml picloxidine dihydrochloride 0.5 mg
Excipients: dextrose monohydrate - 55 mg, polysorbate 80 - 0.25 mg, hydrochloric acid solution 1M or sodium hydroxide solution 1M - up to pH 3.5-7.5, water d / i - up to 1 ml.
Hypersensitivity to picloxidine.
pharmachologic effect
Antiseptic agent for use in ophthalmology, biguanide derivative. Picloxidine is active against many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, chlamydia, some viruses and fungi.
Side effect
Possibly: local irritation, hypersensitivity reactions.

If, along with picloxidine, other medicinal products in eye drops are used, it is necessary that the interval between instillation be at least 15 minutes
