Pharmacological action of

Special instructions

If it is necessary to determine 17-ketosteroids, the drug should be discontinued 48 hours before the study.
During treatment, you should refrain from engaging in potentially hazardous activities that require increased attention and speed of mental and motor reactions. To reduce the risk of adverse events from the gastrointestinal tract, the minimum effective dose should be used with the minimum possible short course.
Composition
Phenylbutazone 150 mg.
Dosage and administration
Inside, 0.2-0.4 g during or after meals 3-4 times a day.
For children from 6 months old - 0.01-0.1 g (depending on age) 3-4 times a day. The duration of therapy is 2-5 weeks or more.
Side effects of the digestive system: dyspepsia, NSAIDs, gastropathy, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, diarrhea or constipation with prolonged use in large doses - ulceration of the gastrointestinal mucosa, aphthous stomatitis, glossitis, erosive (gastrointestinal, gingival, hemorrhoidal), impaired liver function.
From the CCC: increased blood pressure, tachycardia.
From the nervous system: headache, dizziness, drowsiness, depression, agitation.
On the part of the sensory organs: hearing loss, tinnitus.
From the side of hematopoietic organs: agranulocytosis, leukopenia, anemia, thrombocytopenia.
Allergic reactions: skin rash, itching, urticaria, bronchospasm, edema syndrome, angioedema.

Drug interaction
Enhances the effect of indirect anticoagulants , antiplatelet agents, fibrinolytics, side effects of GCS and ISS, estrogen, morphine, PASK, penicillin, hypoglycemic effect of sulfonylurea derivatives.
Reduces the effectiveness of uricosuric, antihypertensive drugs and diuretics.
Increases the blood concentration of Li +, methotrexate.
Inducers of microsomal oxidation in the liver (phenytoin, ethanol, barbiturates, rifampicin, tricyclic antidepressants) increase the production of hydroxylated active metabolites.
Antacids and colestyramine decrease absorption.
Myelotoxic drugs increase the hematotoxicity of the drug.
Overdose
Symptoms: cyanosis of the fingertips, lips, body skin, dizziness, headache, increased or decreased blood pressure, hyperventilation of the lungs, clouding of consciousness, in children - myoclonic cramps, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, hemorrhage, impaired function liver and kidney.
Treatment: gastric lavage, the introduction of activated charcoal, symptomatic therapy aimed at maintaining the vital functions of the body. Forced diuresis and hemodialysis are ineffective.
