Pharmacological action of

NSAIDs from the pyrazolone derivative group. Butadion has an anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effect due to inhibition of COX activity and a decrease in prostaglandin synthesis.

Indications

Inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the musculoskeletal system: rheumatoid, gouty, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis (ankylosing spondylitis), osteoarthrosis, arthritis with SLE (as part of complex therapy).

Pain: bursitis, tendovaginitis, arthralgia, myalgia, neuralgia, toothache and headache (including migraine) pain, algomenorrhea, pain from injuries, burns.

Feverish syndrome with colds and infectious diseases.

Designed for symptomatic therapy, reduce pain and inflammation at the time of use, does not affect the progression of the disease.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity complete or incomplete combination of bronchial asthma, recurrent polyposis of the nose and paranasal sinuses and intolerance to ASA or other NSAIDs (including a history of)

erosive and ulcerative ulcer of the gastrointestinal tract in stage 12 duodenal ulcer, ulcerative colitis, peptic ulcer), bone marrow depression, decompensated heart failure or pulmonary heart disease, severe hepatic and / or renal failure (CC less than 30 ml / min), period after coronary artery bypass grafting

pregnancy, lactation.

Special instructions

During treatment, monitoring of the picture of peripheral blood and the functional state of the liver and kidneys is necessary.

If it is necessary to determine 17-ketosteroids, the drug should be discontinued 48 hours before the study.

During treatment, you should refrain from engaging in potentially hazardous activities that require increased attention and speed of mental and motor reactions. To reduce the risk of adverse events from the gastrointestinal tract, the minimum effective dose should be used with the minimum possible short course.

Composition

1 tablet contains: Active substance: phenylbutazone - 150 mg.

Dosage and administration

Inside, 0.2-0.4 g during or after meals 3-4 times a day.

For children from 6 months old - 0.01-0.1 g (depending on age) 3-4 times a day. The duration of therapy is 2-5 weeks or more.

Side effects of the digestive system: dyspepsia, NSAIDs, gastropathy, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, diarrhea or constipation with prolonged use in large doses - ulceration of the gastrointestinal mucosa, aphthous stomatitis, glossitis, erosive, erosive (gastrointestinal, gingival, hemorrhoidal), impaired liver function.

From the CCC: increased blood pressure, tachycardia.

From the nervous system: headache, dizziness, drowsiness, depression, agitation.

On the part of the sensory organs: hearing loss, tinnitus.

From the side of hematopoietic organs: agranulocytosis, leukopenia, anemia, thrombocytopenia.

Allergic reactions: skin rash, itching, urticaria, bronchospasm, edematous syndrome, angioedema.

Other: increased sweating, uterine bleeding.

Drug interaction

Enhances the effect of indirect anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, fibrinolytics, side effects of GCS and MKS, estrogen, morphine, PASK, penicillin, hypoglycemic effect of sulfonylurea derivatives.

Reduces the effectiveness of uricosuric, antihypertensive drugs and diuretics.

Increases the blood concentration of Li +, methotrexate.

Inducers of microsomal oxidation in the liver (phenytoin, ethanol, barbiturates, rifampicin, tricyclic antidepressants) increase the production of hydroxylated active metabolites.

Antacids and colestyramine decrease absorption.

Myelotoxic drugs increase the hematotoxicity of the drug.

Overdose

Symptoms: cyanosis of fingertips, lips, body skin, dizziness, headache, increase or decrease in blood pressure, hyperventilation of the lungs, clouding of consciousness, in children - myoclonic convulsions, nausea, vomiting abdominal pain, hemorrhage, impaired liver and kidney function.

Treatment: gastric lavage, administration of activated charcoal, symptomatic therapy aimed at maintaining vital functions of the body. Forced diuresis and hemodialysis are ineffective.
