DESCRIPTION

Pharmazin 200 is a medicinal preparation containing the antibiotic tylosin in the form of a base in an organic solvent as an active substance.

The drug is a light yellow injection solution.

COMPOSITION

Pharmazin 200 contains 200 mg of tylosin in 1 ml.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Tylosin is an antibiotic from the macrolide group, active against most gram-positive and some gram-negative bacteria, including staphylococci, streptococci, corynebacteria, clostridia, pasteurella, erysipelotrix, spirochetes, chlamydia, treponema, chiodysentery and mycoplasma.

When administered intramuscularly, the antibiotic is well absorbed from the injection site into the bloodstream and penetrates into almost all organs and tissues of the body. The highest levels of tylosin are found in the lungs, liver, mammary glands and kidneys. After a single injection, the therapeutic concentration of the antibiotic remains in the body for at least 20 hours. In addition, due to the peculiarities of the mechanism of action, Farmazin 200 selectively accumulates in tissues with low pH values, that is, in the foci of inflammation, providing a targeted effect.

Pharmazin 200 also exhibits nonspecific immunostimulating and immunomodulatory effects due to inhibition of cytokines, activation of plasma cells and antibody production, activation of leukocyte chemotaxis and proliferation of lymphoid elements. Pharmazin 200 in extremely high concentrations accumulates in the lysosomes of neutrophils, ensuring the completion of phagocytosis and rapid elimination of bacterial pathogens. The special composition of the organic solvent in injection Pharmazin provides high storage stability, optimal consistency for comfortable filling of the syringe and absolutely painless injections for the animal. The drug is excreted from the body mainly in feces, in smaller quantities in urine and milk.

INDICATIONS

It is prescribed for the treatment of bronchopneumonia in cattle and small ruminants, pigs, dogs and cats, enzootic pneumonia, arthritis, dysentery, atrophic rhinitis of pigs, infectious agalactia of sheep and goats, mastitis in cattle, skin and surgical infections, as well as for the prevention and treatment secondary infections in viral diseases.

APPLICATION

Farmazin 200 is administered to animals only intramuscularly once a day for 3 - 5 days in the following doses:

SIDE EFFECTS

Allergic reactions in pigs are very rare in the form of erythema, itching, respiratory symptoms, mild edema with a slight prolapse of the rectum, which quickly disappear after the drug is discontinued.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Increased individual sensitivity to tylosin. It is not recommended to use Farmazin 200 simultaneously with tiamulin, clindamycin, chloramphenicol, penicillins (especially with ampicillin and oxacillin), cephalosporins and lincomycin due to a pronounced decrease in the antibacterial effect of tylosin.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Slaughter of animals for meat, which was used Farmazin 200, is allowed 8 days after the termination of the drug administration. The meat of animals that were forcedly killed before the expiration of the specified period is used for feeding carnivores or for the production of meat and bone meal. Milk obtained from animals during the period of application of Farmazin 200 and before the expiration of 4 days after the last administration of the drug is prohibited to be used for food purposes. Such milk can be used to feed animals.

STORAGE

Store in a dry, dark place and out of reach of children and animals at temperatures from 5 В° C to 25 В° C. The shelf life is 3 years.
