Pharmacological action
Infusion of peppermint leaves has antispasmodic, soothing, choleretic, antiemetic and local irritating effect.
Indications
Symptomatic therapy: smooth muscle spasms of the gastrointestinal tract, nausea, vomiting.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the drug, early childhood (up to 3 years).
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Use during pregnancy and lactation is possible if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus and the baby.

Dosage and administration
About 5 g (1 tablespoon) of crushed leaves are placed in an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, insist at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, the remaining raw materials are squeezed. The volume of the resulting infusion was adjusted with boiled water to 200 ml.
Take a warm infusion 2-3 times a day, 15 minutes before meals: children from 3 to 6 years old - 1 dessert spoon, children from 6 to 14 years old - 1-2 tablespoons, children over 14 years old and adults - 1/2 to 1/3 cup. Before use, it is recommended to shake the infusion.
If there is no improvement after treatment or if symptoms worsen or new ones appear, consult a doctor. Use the drug only according to the indications, the method of use and at the doses indicated in the instructions.
