Pharmacological action of

Peony tincture increases the body's resistance to hypoxia, has antispasmodic, anticonvulsant, antimicrobial properties, helps to increase the acidity of the stomach. Peony preparations do not significantly affect the autonomic nervous, cardiovascular system and respiration. The maximum therapeutic effect occurs in 1–1.5 hours. Duration of action is 1–3 hours.

Indications

For functional disorders of the central nervous system: neurosis, neurotic state, neurocirculatory dystonia.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the Peony evasive tincture, hepatic and / or renal failure, childhood (up to 12 years), pregnancy, lactation.

Ingredients

Active ingredients: peony evading grass - 50 g, peony of evading rhizome and roots - 50 g

Excipient: ethanol 40%

Dosing and Administration

Shake the tincture before using Peony. The drug is taken orally 10-15 minutes before a meal. Adults are recommended to take from 30 - 40 drops to 1 teaspoon of tincture 2-3 times a day. Children from 12 years old - at the rate of 1 drop of tincture for 1 year of life. The duration of the course of treatment is prescribed individually for each patient, taking into account the nature, severity and characteristics of the course of the disease, the stability of the achieved therapeutic effect and tolerability of the drug. The recommended duration of treatment is 2 weeks. If necessary, the treatment can be repeated after a break (after 2-3 months).
