Pharmacological action
Erinit - organic nitrate, antianginal agent.
According to pharmacological properties it is close to nitroglycerin, however, compared with it, it is more slowly absorbed by the mucous membranes and has a slower, but longer-lasting effect. The effect when taken orally occurs after 30-45 minutes. The duration of the effect is 4-5 hours.
Indications
- For the prevention of angina attacks (for the relief of angina attacks, the drug is of little use due to the slow onset of the effect.).
- In the treatment of chronic heart failure.
Contraindications
- Severe arterial hypotension.
- Collapse.
- Shock.
- Acute myocardial infarction occurring with hypotension.
- Hemorrhagic stroke.
- Traumatic brain injury.
- Angle-closure glaucoma.
- Hypersensitivity to the drug and other organic nitrates.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
Use with caution in pregnancy and lactation.
Composition
1 tablet contains: Erinit 0.01 g
Dosage and administration of
Erinit is taken orally (1 hour before a meal) at 0.01-0.02 g (1-2 tablets).
To prevent nightly attacks of angina, 0.02 g at bedtime is prescribed. The course of treatment usually lasts 2-4 weeks. A second course is prescribed intermittently, the duration of which depends on the course of the disease.
With prolonged use of the drug, tolerance may develop.
Storage Conditions
Store the product in a cool, dark place.
