Indications

Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenal ulcer (in the acute phase), erosive gastritis, reflux esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, dyspepsia of neurotic origin.

1 tablet contains pantoprazole 20 and 40 mg.

Dosage and administration

Inside, without chewing, washing down with liquid. With peptic ulcer - 40-80 mg / day. In elderly patients, with chronic renal failure - no more than 40 mg / day. The course of treatment for scarring of the duodenal ulcer is 2 weeks, stomach ulcers and reflux esophagitis - 4-8 weeks. With liver failure - 40 mg once every 2 days.

Side effects

Headache, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, painful tension of the mammary glands, weakness, skin rash, itching of the skin, dizziness, hyperthermia, depression, visual impairment.

Drug Interaction

Reduces the effect of drugs absorbing at acidic pH (including ketoconazole).
