For the prevention of influenza - lubricate the nasal mucosa every day 2-3 times a day during the period of the rise and maximum development of an epidemic outbreak of influenza (for 25 days) or upon contact with a sick flu. Treatment of viral rhinitis: the nasal mucosa is lubricated 2-3 times per day for 3-4 days.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding period, children under 2 years of age.
pharmachologic effect
Antiviral agent for external use. Has a virucidal effect on the influenza virus in direct contact with virus-containing material, interferes with the reproduction of the virus in cells. In the dosage forms used, when applied to the skin (intact or scarified) ointments and mucous membranes, it does not have a resorptive toxic and local irritating effect.
Pharmacokinetics
When applied to the skin in the appropriate dosage form, about 5% is absorbed, on the mucous membrane - up to 20%. It does not accumulate in the body and is excreted mainly by the kidneys during the day.
Side effect
When applied externally: possibly burning sensation, dermatitis, washed off blue staining. For nasal administration: there may be a burning sensation in the nose, rhinorrhea, washed off blue staining.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is contraindicated.
