Indications

bacterial vaginitis caused by banal pyogenic flora

vulvovaginal mycoses caused by fungi of the genus Candida

vaginitis caused by mixed infection.

Contraindications

hypersensitivity to any component of the

drug in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

The drug ElzhinaВ® is contraindicated during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

If it is necessary to use the drug, breast-feeding should be discontinued.

Composition

1 tablet contains:

active ingredients:

ornidazole - 500 mg

neomycin (in the form of sulfate) - 65000 IU

prednisolone (in the form of sodium phosphate) - 3 mg

econazole (in the form of s nitlk) - 100 mg substances:

lactose monohydrate - 305.4 mg

potato starch - 90 mg

silicon dioxide colloid - 12 mg

povidone (low molecular weight polyvinylpyrrolidone) - 19 mg

crospovidone - 24 mg

3 calcium

3 polys talcum powder - 18 mg

Dosage and administration

Intravaginally, 1 vaginal tablet. daily before bedtime.

A vaginal tablet should be administered deep into the vagina when lying on your back, after hygienic treatment of the external genital organs. Before insertion into the vagina, the tablet must be held in cold boiled water for 20-30 s. After administration, the tablets should lie for 10-15 minutes.

The average duration of treatment is 6–9 days.

During menstruation, the drug Elzhina® is used as usual.

If, after treatment, improvement does not occur or new symptoms appear, it is necessary to consult a doctor.

Side effects

From the skin and subcutaneous tissues: angioedema, urticaria, contact dermatitis, peeling of the skin, erythema.

General disorders and reactions together with the introduction: burning, pain, irritation and swelling at the injection site, vaginal dryness (especially at the beginning of treatment).

Drug Interaction

Incompatibilities or interactions of active Elgin components with other medicinal products have not been described.

It is recommended to inform your doctor about the simultaneous treatment with other medicines.

overdose

Due to the low degree of absorption of components into the systemic circulation, an overdose is unlikely.
