Pharmacodynamics
Tizol - titanium glycerosolvate aqua complex, is a metal complex compound. As a metal complex compound, Tizol is sterile and has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects. Tizol accelerates the reparative processes in the skin and reduces inflammation (erythema, swelling, infiltration), helps to eliminate itching. The presence of bound molecules of glycerin and a titanium atom in the Tisol molecule provides a protective and dehydrating, anti-edema, local analgesic effect. In the Tisol molecule, the titanium atom, chemically bonded to glycerol, is a complexing center for the fragments constituting the drug molecule: glycerol and water. This interaction determines the gel structure of Tisol, which ensures its conductivity through biological tissues and its pharmacological properties.Tizol promotes the passage of medicinal substances through the skin and mucous membranes
Pharmacokinetics
When applied externally, Tizol is rapidly absorbed, being distributed in the skin, subcutaneous tissue and underlying tissues.
Not metabolized.
It is excreted unchanged by the kidneys 42%, through the intestines 48%, by the sweat glands 6.2%, through the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract 3.8%. The rate of elimination of the drug is 20-24 hours. It does not accumulate in the body."
