DESCRIPTION

Oksarep is a means for protecting animals from blood-sucking insects.

COMPOSITION

As an active ingredient 10% oxamate (a mixture of aliphatic esters of N, N diethylloxamic acid), as well as auxiliary components.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

The drug is a repellent agent, active against blood-sucking dipterans, including mosquitoes, midges, biting midges, horseflies. Oksarep is a low-toxic drug for warm-blooded animals (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), in recommended doses it does not have a resorptive-toxic and local irritating effect. Oxamate, which is part of the drug, is poorly absorbed through the skin, quickly degrades in the body and does not accumulate in organs and tissues.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

Cattle, horses, oxen, sled deer, incl. young animals, etc. processed as needed during the mass summer of blood-sucking insects. From a balloon, using a spray head, the drug is applied to the back, head, horns, and the belly of the animal. The aerosol torch is directed downwind to the hairline from a distance of 0.5-1.0 m, depending on the wind speed. Treatment is carried out individually or in groups (3-6 animals) with a consumption rate of the drug up to 80 ml per head.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed 24 hours after the last treatment with Oxarep. In case of forced slaughter earlier than the established deadline, the meat can be used as feed for carnivores.

Work with special clothing, using a cotton-gauze bandage or respirator.

During work, do not smoke, do not eat or drink; after work, wash your hands and face with warm water and soap.

If the drug gets on the mucous membrane or skin, they must be rinsed abundantly with water. if signs of poisoning appear, consult a doctor immediately.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Not installed.

SIDE EFFECTS

Causes mild irritation on contact with mucous membranes.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Store in a dry, dark place, out of the reach of children, separately from food and feed at temperatures from -40 to +40 В° C. The shelf life of the drug is 36 months.
