DESCRIPTION
OKA-TAB - disinfectant is a white tablet with a chlorine smell weighing 3.3 g. The product is soluble in water, aqueous solutions are transparent.
COMPOSITION
The product contains the sodium salt of dichloroisocyanuric acid (86.8%) as an active ingredient. Tablets weighing 3.3 g, when dissolved in water, release (1.41-1.87) g of active chlorine (ACh).
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The OKA-TAB agent has antimicrobial activity against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria (including pathogens of tuberculosis - tested for Mycobacterium terrae, nosocomial infections, especially dangerous infections - plague, cholera, tularemia, anthrax), viruses (Coxsackie, ECHO, poliomyelitis, rota- and norovirus infections, enteral and parenteral hepatitis, HIV, influenza, including H5NI, H1NI, adenoviruses and other causative agents of ARVI, herpes, cytomegaly, etc.), fungi of the genus Candida, dermatophytes.
Solutions of the OKA-TAB agent have deodorant properties.
Disinfectant OKA-TAB in terms of acute toxicity in accordance with GOST 12.1.007-76 belongs to the 3rd class of moderately hazardous substances when administered to the stomach, to the 4th class of low hazardous substances when applied to the skin; according to the classification of KK Sidorov, when administered parenterally (into the abdominal cavity), it belongs to the 4th class of low toxic substances; in case of inhalation exposure in saturating concentrations (vapors), according to the classification of the inhalation hazard of agents, according to the degree of volatility, it belongs to the 2nd hazard class; in direct contact, it causes irritation of the skin and mucous membranes of the eyes; does not possess sensitizing properties.
Working solutions up to 0.015% -0.06% (according to AX) in the form of vapors do not cause irritation of the respiratory system; with a single exposure, they do not have a local irritating effect on the skin.
Working solutions with an active chlorine content of 0.1% and more, when used by wiping and irrigation methods, cause irritation of the upper respiratory tract and mucous membranes of the eyes.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Working solutions of the OKA-TAB agent are prepared in plastic, enamel or glass containers by dissolving the required number of tablets of the agent in tap drinking water with periodic stirring for faster dissolution of the agent (Table 1).
To impart detergent properties to the working solutions of the OKA-TAB agent, you can add a synthetic detergent.

Solutions of the OKA-TAB agent are used to disinfect the objects specified in clause 1.4., By means of wiping, irrigation, soaking, immersion.
Surfaces in rooms (floor, walls, etc.), hard furniture, external surfaces of devices, devices are wiped with a rag soaked in a solution of the product, or irrigated from a hydraulic control panel, an automax, a sprayer of the Quasar type. The consumption rate of the solution for wiping is 150 ml / m2, when used in combination with a detergent - 100 ml / m2, for irrigation - from 150 to 300 ml / m2, depending on the type of spray equipment.
After the end of disinfection by irrigation, wet cleaning is carried out in the room. Parquet floors, polished furniture are wiped with a dry cloth. The room is ventilated until the chlorine smell disappears.
Transport (sanitary, for the transportation of food products, public vehicles, garbage trucks, etc.) is wiped with a cloth soaked in a solution of the product, or irrigated from a hydraulic control unit, an automax, a sprayer of the 'Quasar' type. The consumption rates of the agent solutions are indicated in the table.
After the transportation of an infectious patient, sanitary transport is processed in accordance with the regimens recommended for the corresponding infection.
Garbage collectors, garbage chambers and garbage collection equipment are disinfected by means of irrigation or wiping in accordance with the modes specified in the instructions.
Sanitary equipment (bathtubs, sinks, toilet bowls, etc.) is wiped with a rag soaked in a solution of the agent, or irrigated from a hydraulic control unit, an automax, a sprayer of the 'Quasar' type. The consumption rates of the agent solutions are indicated in the table. At the end of the disinfection exposure, the sanitary equipment is washed with water.
Rubber and polypropylene mats are immersed in a solution of the product or wiped with a rag soaked in a working solution, at the end of the disinfection exposure, they are washed with water.
The linen is soaked in a container with a solution of the product at a consumption rate of 4 l / kg of dry linen (for tuberculosis and especially dangerous infections - 5 l / kg of dry linen). The container is closed with a lid. At the end of disinfection, the linen is washed and rinsed.
Cleaning equipment (rags, rags, brushes, brushes) are soaked (immersed) in a solution of the product, rinsed and dried at the end of disinfection.
Laboratory glassware (test tubes, flasks, pipettes, cover glasses, Petri dishes, rubber pears, rubber and plastic stoppers, etc.), pharmacy, including single use, are completely immersed in the solution of the product. The container is closed with a lid. At the end of disinfection, the dishes are washed with water until the chlorine smell disappears. Dispose of disposable dishes after disinfection.
