• Spastic dyskinesia of the biliary tract and the sphincter of Oddi, chronic cholecystitis, cholangitis, conditions after surgery on the gallbladder and biliary tract.

• Anorexia, nausea, constipation, vomiting (against the background of bile hyposecretion).

• It can be used for biliary dyskinesia in patients with uncomplicated cholelithiasis.

Inside, 30 minutes before meals;

Adults - 200-400 mg three times a day. The daily dose is 1200 mg.

Children from 7 years old - 200 mg (1 tablet) one to three times a day. The daily dose is 600 mg.

The course of treatment is 2 weeks.

If a dose is missed, the drug should be taken as soon as possible, or if the time for the next dose is approaching, do not take the missed dose.

Do not take a double dose at once.

Description

Tablets are flat-cylindrical from white to white with a yellowish tinge, beveled and engraved on one side with the letters 'Ch'.

Pharmacodynamics

Increases the formation and secretion of bile. It has a selective antispasmodic effect on the bile ducts and the sphincter of Oddi (does not reduce gastrointestinal tract peristalsis and blood pressure). Reduces bile congestion, prevents cholesterol crystallization and the formation of gallstones.

Pharmacokinetics

When taken orally, it is easily absorbed from the digestive tract.
The maximum concentration in the blood is reached after 2-3 hours.
The half-life from serum is about 1 hour.
Gimecromone is excreted in the urine; about 93% in the form of glucuronate, 1.4% -sulfonate, 0.3% is unchanged hymecromone.

Allergic reactions; with prolonged use - diarrhea, flatulence, headache, abdominal pain, ulceration of the gastrointestinal mucosa.

Interaction with other medicinal products

The effect is reduced against the background of the simultaneous administration of morphine, which causes spasm of the sphincter of Oddi. Bilateral angagonism when combined with metoclopramide. Enhances the effects of indirect anticoagulants.
