Pharmacological action
Macmiror complex is a combined preparation for topical use in gynecology, consisting of a nitrofuran derivative (nifuratel) and an antibiotic of the polyene group (nystatin).
Active against Trichomonas vaginalis and fungi of the genus Candida, protozoa, gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms.
Does not affect the physiological flora, which helps to avoid the development of dysbiosis and quickly restore the normocenosis of the vagina. The use of the drug helps prevent relapses that may occur after the apparent cure of primary infections.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. With caution - pregnancy, lactation.
Special instructions
When monotherapy for vaginal infections, it is recommended to increase the daily dosage of the drug to 4-6 tablets. During treatment should refrain from sexual intercourse.
To achieve the maximum therapeutic effect, a suppository should be introduced into the upper part of the vagina.
Simultaneous treatment of the sexual partner is necessary due to the risk of reinfection.
Method of using a graduated applicator: screw the graduated applicator onto a tube of ointment. Collect the required amount of cream (in accordance with the lines of the scale, denoting the amount in grams) by pressing on the tube. Disconnect from the tube, insert into the vagina, squeeze out the contents by pressing on the rod.
The presence of a special nozzle allows you to enter the cream without damaging the hymen. To do this, remove the cannula from the top of the rod and screw it onto the syringe head from the opposite side before introducing the cream into the vagina.
Dosage and administration
Suppositories are administered intravaginally, at bedtime, for 1 day, 1 suppository.
