DESCRIPTION

Novomek - an antiparasitic drug in the form of a solution for injection helps with parasitic diseases of animals (lice, bloodsuckers, pathogens of gadfly diseases, sarcoptoidosis, wolfarthiosis and helminthiases caused by nematodes). Colorless or slightly yellowish transparent liquid.

COMPOSITION

The active ingredient is ivermectin (22,23-dihydroavermectin B1), obtained from the fermentation products of the soil fungus Streptomyces avarmytilis.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

It has antiparasitic action. By blocking the transmission of nerve impulses, it causes paralysis, and then the death of parasites. Low toxicity for warm-blooded animals, in doses used against pathogens of parasitic diseases, it is not dangerous for animals.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

Before carrying out mass treatments, each batch of Novomek is checked on a small group of animals (5-10 animals), which are monitored for 2 to 3 days. In the absence of complications, the drug is used for the entire livestock. It is injected into cattle and small ruminants, pigs and camels under the skin in the forearm area or behind the shoulder joint from a syringe with a short needle in compliance with the rules of asepsis, for horses it is used intramuscularly, for deer - intramuscularly or cutaneously.

Cattle, sheep, goats, horses, camels - subcutaneously 200 Ојg / kg (1 ml per 50 kg) of live weight. Pigs - with nematodes - 200 Ојg / kg (1 ml per 50 kg), with sarcoptic mange - 300 Ојg / kg (1.5 ml per 50 kg) of live weight. Reindeer - intramuscularly or cutaneous 200 Ојg / kg (1 ml per 50 kg) of live weight, with edemagenosis - 0.5 ml per animal.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed 30 days after the last use of the drug. In case of forced slaughter before the specified time, the meat is used to feed animals or for processing into meat and bone meal.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Do not use the drug in dairy, weakened, exhausted, and pregnant animals 30 days before delivery.

SIDE EFFECTS

Does not cause in recommended doses.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

List B. In a dry, dark place, away from a heat source, open flame at a temperature not exceeding 30 В° C. The lower limit of the temperature regime is not limited. The shelf life is 5 years.
