DESCRIPTION
Vaccine Tricat Trio against calicivirus, viral rhinotracheitis and panleukopenia of cats live dry with solvent. In appearance, the vaccine is a homogeneous dry mass of pale pink color, readily soluble in Nobivak Diluent without the formation of flakes and sediment; the solvent is a clear, colorless liquid.
COMPOSITION
The vaccine is made from the culture fluid of a transplantable cell line FEF infected with viruses of rhinotracheitis (strain G 2620A), calicivirus (strain F9), panleukopenia (strain MW-1) of cats, with the addition of stabilizers (hydrolyzed gelatin - 12.5 mg, sorbitol - 25 mg , pancreatic hydrolyzate of casein - 12.5 mg) and sodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate - 0.062 mg.
Sterile solvent Nobivak Diluent is a phosphate-buffered solution (pH 7.2 - 7.4), which includes sodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate - 0.31 mg, potassium dihydrogen phosphate - 0.21 mg, water for injection up to 1 ml. The diluent is supplied with the vaccine.
BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The Nobivac Tricat trio vaccine induces the formation of an immune response to viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and panleukopenia in cats 10 days after repeated administration. Immunity against viral rhinotracheitis and calicivirus lasts for 12 months, against panleukopenia - for 3 years. Reduction of the clinical manifestation of viral rhinotracheitis and calicivirus is provided within 3 years.
Each dose of the vaccine contains at least:
5.2 lg PFU of feline rhinotracheitis virus (strain G 2620A);
4.6 lg PFU of feline calicivirus (strain F9);
4.3 lg TCID50 of feline panleukopenia virus (strain MW-1)
The vaccine is harmless and has no medicinal properties.
INDICATIONS
Assign to kittens and cats for the specific prevention of calicivirus, viral rhinotracheitis and panleukopenia.
DOSES AND METHOD OF APPLICATION
Before immunization, the vials with the vaccine are resuspended in 1 ml of Nobivac Diluent or saline, then vigorously shake until the dry mass is completely dissolved. The syringe is filled with the dissolved vaccine and injected into the animal subcutaneously. For injections, only sterile syringes and needles are used, and the injection site is pre-treated with 70% ethyl alcohol. Animals are vaccinated twice with an interval of 3 to 4 weeks, starting from 8 to 9 weeks of age. Cats are revaccinated annually with 1 dose of the drug.
SIDE EFFECTS
In some cases, after applying the vaccine, a slight rise in temperature and the formation of swelling at the injection site are possible, which spontaneously disappear within 2 days and do not require treatment.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
It is forbidden to vaccinate clinically sick and / or weakened animals. It is not recommended to vaccinate cats during pregnancy and lactation.
It is not recommended to use Nobivac Tricat Trio simultaneously with other vaccines. Patients with infectious and parasitic diseases, as well as pregnant animals are not subject to immunization.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
When manipulating the drug, you should follow the rules of asepsis, avoid contamination of the vaccine. If the vaccine comes into contact with the skin or mucous membranes of the eyes, it must be washed off immediately with plenty of water. At the end of the treatment, hands should be thoroughly washed with warm water and soap. If this vaccine is accidentally administered to a person, you need to seek help from a medical institution.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
The shelf life of the vaccine is 33 months, the solvent is 60 months from the date of issue, subject to storage and transportation conditions. After the expiration date, the vaccine and diluent are not suitable for use.
The vaccine is stored and transported in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 2 to 8 В° C, and the solvent at a temperature of 2 to 25 В° C.
Keep the vaccine and solvent out of the reach of children.
Vials with a vaccine and a solvent without labels, with an expired shelf life, with a violation of the integrity and / or tightness of the closure, with a changed color and / or consistency of the contents, with the presence of foreign impurities, as well as a vaccine not used within 30 minutes after dissolution, rejection and disinfection by boiling for 20 minutes, followed by disposal. Disposal of the disinfected vaccine does not require special precautions.
PACKAGING
The vaccine is packaged under vacuum in 1 inoculation dose (volume before lyophilization is 0.5 cm3), solvent is 1 ml. The vaccine and diluent are available in glass bottles of appropriate capacity. The vials are evacuated and hermetically sealed with rubber stoppers, reinforced with aluminum caps.
Vaccine and diluent vials are packaged in 25 pieces in cardboard or plastic boxes. Each box contains instructions for using the vaccine.
