BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The Nobivac DHPPi vaccine induces the formation of an immune response in dogs against the causative agents of canine plague, parvovirus enteritis, infectious hepatitis and canine parainfluenza 10 days after repeated administration, which persists for at least 12 months. The vaccine is harmless and has no medicinal properties.
INDICATIONS
The Nobivac DHPPi vaccine is prescribed to dogs for the prevention of canine plague, infectious hepatitis, parvovirus enteritis and parainfluenza of dogs.
DOSES AND METHOD OF APPLICATION
Only clinically healthy animals are vaccinated with the vaccine.
Dogs are vaccinated at 8 weeks of age, with booster vaccinations at 12 weeks of age. If earlier protection against plague of carnivores and parvovirus enteritis is needed, the first vaccination can be carried out with the Nobivac Puppy DP vaccine at the age of 4 weeks, followed by a repeated vaccination with the Nobivac DHPPi vaccine according to the above scheme. Animals over 12 weeks of age are vaccinated once.
Revaccination is carried out once a year with 1 dose of the vaccine.
1 ml of the diluent is added to the vial with the vaccine using a sterile syringe and mixed thoroughly until a homogeneous suspension is formed. After dilution, the vaccine in the amount of one dose is administered to the animal subcutaneously or intramuscularly in compliance with the rules of asepsis and antiseptics.
It is advisable to vaccinate all susceptible animals that are in the same room at the same time.
SIDE EFFECTS
When administered subcutaneously at the injection site, a slight swelling may form, which spontaneously disappears within one to two weeks. In animals, hypersensitivity reactions are possible after application of the vaccine; in this case, subcutaneous administration of epinephrine in recommended doses is indicated.
Side effects and complications when used in accordance with this instruction, as a rule, are not noted.
OVERDOSE
Symptoms of the manifestation of plague of carnivores, infectious hepatitis, paravirus enteritis, parainfluenza of dogs or other pathological signs in case of an overdose of the vaccine have not been established.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to vaccine components.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
The vaccine is allowed in dogs during pregnancy. If the integrity of the vial is violated or at the end of the specified expiration date, the unused vaccine must be disinfected by boiling for 5 to 10 minutes.
Features of the post-vaccination reaction during primary immunization have not been identified.
Violations of the vaccination schedule should be avoided, as this can lead to a decrease in effectiveness.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
The vaccine is stored and transported in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 2 to 8 В° C. Freezing the vaccine is not allowed. Shelf life is 2 years.
