DESCRIPTION
Neosidine M is a medicinal preparation in the form of a solution for injection, intended for the treatment and prevention of blood-parasitic diseases of cattle, sheep, horses and dogs.
COMPOSITION
Neosidine-M as an active ingredient contains diminazene diaceturate - 50 mg / ml and auxiliary components (antipyrine, etc.)
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Neosidin-M has a wide spectrum of antiprotozoal action, is active against the causative agents of babesiosis (piroplasmosis), fransayellosis, trypanosomiasis, theileriosis and nuttalliosis parasitizing in animals.
The mechanism of action of diaceturate, which is part of the drug, is based on inhibition of aerobic glycolysis and DNA synthesis in blood parasites, which leads to the destruction of their cellular structure and death. After parenteral administration, the therapeutic concentration of dimensionazene diaceturate in the blood is reached after 3-5 hours and is maintained for 24 hours.
The drug accumulates mainly in the kidneys and liver, is excreted in the urine, in lactating animals - partially in milk.
Neosidine-M is classified as a moderately hazardous substance in terms of the degree of its effect on the body; in the recommended doses it does not have a local irritating, sensitizing, embryotoxic and teratogenic effect.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Neosidin-M is prescribed to cattle, sheep, horses and dogs with therapeutic and prophylactic purposes in case of trypanosomiasis, babesiosis, francaiellosis, nuttalliasis, theileriosis and mixed invasions.
For therapeutic purposes, the drug is administered to farm animals once intramuscularly in a dose of 1 ml per 20 kg of animal weight.
In cases where sick animals do not have a decrease in temperature and an improvement in general condition after the first injection of the drug, it is allowed to re-administer the drug in the same dose after 24 hours.
For dogs, the drug is used in a dose of 0.5 ml per 10 kg of animal weight divided into two doses with an interval of 1-2 hours or in one dose, provided that the volume of Neosidine-M solution calculated for administration to the animal is diluted with a sterile solvent 1: 1.
Along with Neosidine-M, dogs are recommended to use antihistamines in accordance with the instructions for use.
Sick animals are provided with rest and, in addition, depending on the physiological state, symptomatic agents are prescribed (cardiac, laxatives, vitamins, trace elements).
When the drug is administered in a volume exceeding 10 ml, injections should be carried out in several places.
For prophylactic purposes, if animals with clinical signs of the disease are found in a herd or after the animals have been driven to an area unfavorable for blood-parasitic diseases, Neozidin-M is used once in a therapeutic dose. If necessary, the treatment is repeated after 10-15 days.
Before mass treatment of animals, each batch of Neosidine-M is preliminarily tested on a small group (5-10 animals) of animals. In the absence of complications within 3 days, all livestock are treated.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed no earlier than 21 days after the last use of the drug. In the event of the forced slaughter of animals before the established date, the meat can be used for the production of meat and bone meal.
Milk of dairy animals must not be used for food purposes within 5 days after processing. Such milk after heat treatment can be used in animal feed.
SIDE EFFECTS
When using Neozidin-M according to the instructions, side effects and complications in animals are not observed.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Store the drug with caution (list B) in the manufacturer's sealed packaging in a dry, dark place at a temperature from 0 В° C to 25 В° C.
Under the specified storage conditions - 18 months from the date of manufacture.

The drug is produced in 100 ml packaged in hermetically sealed vials of appropriate capacity, closed with rubber stoppers and aluminum caps.
