For the measurement of "Total cholesterol" only, the device uses specially adjusted software based on the characteristics of the characteristics of male and female blood and taking into account the difference in blood composition before and after meals.

This adjustment will increase the accuracy of the results.

1) After installing the strip, "F" (female) will appear on the left of the display and "M" (male) on the right.

Press the appropriate button ("-" for "F" or "+" for "M") to select the gender.

2) After two seconds, the display will show "A" (before meal) and "P" (after meal) Press the appropriate button ("-" for "A" or "+" for "P") to select a letter.

3) The selected letters will remain on the display for two seconds.

After that, a code and a blinking drop of blood will appear on the display, indicating that the device is ready to receive blood.

4) The result is saved in the device memory.

The test is based on the reaction of the ingredients: Cholesterol oxidase / Cholesterol esterase, Peroxidase / Chromogen.

The color intensity of the colored compound resulting from the reaction is proportional to the concentration of total cholesterol in the blood.

Application:

open the container with the multiCare-in Cholesterol test strips and remove the green code chip

insert the code-chip into the special hole on the side of the device

open the bottle, take out the test strip and immediately close the bottle

Insert the test strip into the test strip slot on the meter, with the arrows pointing towards the meter.
