Adults and children from 12 years old inside 1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day before meals. The course of treatment is on average 7-14 days. Children can dissolve the tablet in 1/3 cup of warm water.
Active ingredient: marshmallow herb extract (mucaltin) - 50.0 mg;
excipients: calcium phosphate 2-substituted anhydrous (calcium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous) - 219.03 mg, crospovidone (crospovidone CE) - 102.82 mg, tartaric acid - 42.40 mg, black currant flavor * - 5.51 mg, calcium stearate - 4.24 mg.
* As part of the flavoring agent: natural flavoring agent, maltodextrin - 62.5%, gum arabic (E 414) - 26.5%, triacetin (E1518) - 6.5%.
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug,
peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum,
children under 12 years of age.
Pharmacological properties
Mukaltin is a mixture of polysaccharides from the herb marshmallow with expectorant properties. Thanks to reflex stimulation, it enhances the activity of the ciliated epithelium and the peristalsis of the respiratory bronchioles in combination with an increase in the secretion of the bronchial glands.
