Moss sphagnum BioMaster moisture-retaining additive 1l
DESCRIPTION
Sphagnum moss is a moisture-retaining, aerating, antiseptic additive for substrates. Possesses bactericidal properties, gives the substrate the necessary friability, lightness, air permeability and hygrospiration, improves soil structure and aeration, regulates moisture and air exchange in the soil, improves its structure.
COMPOSITION
Sphagnum moss.
PURPOSE
The additive is intended for composing substrates, making moss supports and hanging baskets. When mixed with soil, it makes the soil light, loose and hygroscopic. Easily absorbs and retains moisture many times its volume, thanks to which it is used for forcing orchids, germinating large seeds and strengthening cuttings of the stem of all plants.
The composition has bactericidal properties, prevents root decay. If necessary, a nutrient substrate will help grow dracaena, dieffenbachia, rubber ficus, monstera and other plants that reproduce by air layers.
MODE OF APPLICATION
To compose the substrate, moss is added to the main components, pre-crushing the length of the stem to 1 cm.
When mulching the soil of moisture-loving plants, sphagnum is placed on the surface of the earth.
When keeping crops that need high air humidity, moss pre-treated with water is distributed on pallets in a layer of 2–2.5 cm.
