1. GENERAL INFORMATION 1.1. Disinfectant 'MEDIKHLOR' contains as an active ingredient the sodium salt of dichloroisocyanuric acid in an amount of 80.0%, produced in the form of white tablets with a chlorine smell, weighing 3.32 g. When one tablet is dissolved in water, 1.52 g of active chlorine (AX). The shelf life of the product in an unopened manufacturer's packaging is 5 years. Shelf life of working solutions of the product is 4 days. The product is produced in containers of polymeric materials with a capacity of 0.001 to 50 kg, any packaging is possible at the request of the customer. The product is highly soluble in water. Aqueous solutions are transparent. 1.2. Means 'MEDIKHLOR' has antimicrobial action against bacteria, incl. against pathogens of intestinal infections (salmonellosis, typhoid fever, dysentery, etc.), respiratory tract infections (diphtheria, scarlet fever, etc.), tuberculosis - tested for Mycobacterium terrae, especially dangerous infections (plague, legionellosis, cholera, tularemia); viruses (pathogens of poliomyelitis, enterovirus infections, Coxsackie, ECHO, enteral and parenteral hepatitis, HIV infection; influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections, 'bird flu H5N1', herpes, adenovirus and other infections); and also has sporicidal activity against the causative agent of anthrax. 1.3. Disinfectant 'MEDIKHLOR' in terms of acute toxicity in accordance with GOST 12.1.007-76 belongs to the 3rd class of moderately hazardous substances when administered to the stomach, to the 4th class of low hazardous substances when applied to the skin; when administered parenterally (into the abdominal cavity), according to the classification of K.K. Sidorov, it belongs to the 4th class of low toxic substances; in case of inhalation exposure in saturating concentrations (vapors) it is highly dangerous according to the classification of the inhalation hazard of agents by the degree of volatility (hazard class 2); in direct contact has a local irritant effect on the skin and mucous membranes of the eyes; does not have a sensitizing property. Working solutions up to 0.06% (according to AX) in the form of vapors do not cause irritation of the respiratory system. Working solutions with an active chlorine content of 0.1% and higher, when used by wiping and irrigation methods, irritate the upper respiratory tract and mucous membranes of the eyes. MPC of chlorine in the air of the working area - 1 mg / m3. 1.4. Disinfectant 'MEDIKHLOR' is intended for use: • in medical and preventive institutions (MPI) 1 and infectious foci for disinfection: - surfaces in rooms, hard furniture, surfaces of devices, apparatus, sanitary equipment, rubber mats, linen, tableware, laboratory (including single use), pharmacy, items for washing dishes, toys, patient care items, footwear made of polymer materials, cleaning equipment, secretions (blood, urine, sputum, vomit, fecal-urinary suspension, etc.), food residues, utensils from excreta, class B and C medical waste (dressings, single-use medical products), medical devices for infections bacterial (including tuberculosis and especially dangerous infections - plague, legionellosis, cholera, tularemia, anthrax) and viral etiology, candidiasis and dermatophytosis during final, current and preventive disinfection; - carrying out general cleaning; - ambulance transport; • in childcare facilities - for final disinfection; • at communal facilities (hotels, hostels, hairdressers, public toilets, etc.), institutions of culture, recreation, sports (cinemas, offices, sports and cultural and recreational complexes, swimming pools, etc.), catering and trade enterprises, industrial markets , penitentiary institutions, barracks, social security institutions (homes for the disabled and the elderly, etc.), for preventive disinfection: - surfaces in rooms, hard furniture, surfaces of devices, apparatus, sanitary equipment, rubber rugs, linen, dining room dishes ( including single use), items for washing dishes, toys, personal hygiene products, footwear made of polymer materials, cleaning equipment, tools (hairdressing, cosmetic); - garbage bins, garbage chambers, garbage trucks and garbage collection equipment; - transport for transporting food products, public transport; • by the population in everyday life - strictly in accordance with the household label.
