DESCRIPTION

COMPOSITION
Maxidine 0.4 contains in 1 ml as an active ingredient: 4.00 mg bis (pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate) germanium, and as auxiliary substances: 3.0 mg sodium chloride, 0.002 ml monoethanolamine and water for injection - up to 1.0 ml.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Maxidin 0.4 refers to immunomodulatory drugs, interferon inducers.
It has a pronounced immunomodulatory and interferon-inducing activity, has a stimulating effect on humoral and cellular immunity. The active substance of the drug is an interferon inducer, blocks the translation of viral proteins. Stimulates natural resistance, increases the activity of the effector cells of the immune system (macrophages, T- and B-lymphocytes).
According to the degree of effect on the body, Maxidin 0.4 is classified as a low-hazard substance (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), in the recommended doses it does not have a local irritant, allergenic, embryotoxic, teratogenic and carcinogenic effect.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
Maxidine 0.4 is used as an immunomodulatory agent in the complex therapy of infectious (viral enteritis, panleukopenia, plague of carnivores, infectious rhinotracheitis, calicivirus), invasive (demodicosis, helminthiasis) diseases, atopic dermatitis and alopecia.
Maxidine 0.4 is administered intramuscularly or subcutaneously 2 times a day for 2-5 days in the following doses:

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Maxidine 0.4 should be stored in the manufacturer's closed packaging, separately from food and feed, in a dry place protected from direct sunlight at a temperature of 4 В° C to 25 В° C.
The shelf life of the medicinal product, subject to storage conditions, is 2 years from the date of manufacture.
It is forbidden to use Maxidin 0.4 after the expiration date.
