Mastomycin is administered intracisternally at a dose of 10 ml (1 syringe) for each affected quarter of the udder 2-6 times (depending on the severity of the disease) with an interval of 12 hours, until the symptoms of the disease disappear completely.
Before the introduction of Mastomycin, the contents of the nipple are removed, the milk is disposed of by boiling, and the nipple is disinfected.
The tip of the syringe is inserted into the nipple canal by gently pressing the plunger of the syringe and the contents are squeezed out, after which a light massage of a quarter of the udder and nipple is carried out from the bottom up (do not massage with purulent and purulent-catarrhal forms of mastitis).
