Mamifort 1 syringe 10ml
DESCRIPTION
Mamifort syringe is an intravenous suspension for the treatment of mastitis in lactating cows, sheep and goats.
COMPOSITION
8 ml of suspension contains 75 mg of ampicillin sodium salt and 200 mg of cloxacillin sodium salt.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Mamifort is a combination of semi-synthetic penicillins, the combination of which allows the drug to effectively act on most pathogens of mastitis, such as streptococci, staphylococci, E. coli, corynebacteria and arcanobacteria. Local application of Mamifort allows achieving bactericidal concentrations of the drug in the affected mammary gland without causing an adverse reaction in its tissues.
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
A suspension is injected into the affected part of the udder from one injector. Milk is thoroughly milked before using the drug.
Dose for cows - 1 injector, for sheep and goats - 1/2 injector. The treatment is repeated with the same dose of the drug after 12 hours.
The full course of treatment is 3 injectors.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Milk during the treatment period and within 3 days after the last application of the drug should be subjected to heat treatment and can be used for feeding young animals.
Milk is allowed to be used for human consumption 3 days (72 hours) after the last use of the drug.
Slaughter for meat can be carried out 7 days after the end of treatment.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
The drug is contraindicated in animals with hypersensitivity to penicillin antibiotics.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 4 to 25 В° C. Shelf life 2 years from the date of manufacture.
